Iron Red Epoxy Ester Primer

Product characteristics.
Made of epoxy resin and vegetable oleic acid, esterified with iron red, zinc yellow, iron black pigment and body pigment grinding, and adding drying agent and solvent modulation. The paint film is hard and durable to iron and aluminum metal substrates have good adhesion; if used in conjunction with phosphate primer for better results, can improve the film moisture resistance, salt spray resistance.

Usage instructions.
(1) Uses.
Widely used in a variety of metal primer, chemical equipment anti-corrosion coatings; automobiles, tractors and other machinery and equipment priming protection field.
(2) Construction requirements.
Suggested number of coats: airless spraying a dry film of 60-80μm, brushing or roller coating 2-3 coats.
Post coats supporting paint: polyurethane topcoat, epoxy topcoat, epoxy cloud iron intermediate paint, etc.
Surface treatment: steel with oxidation: sandblasting to Sa2.5 level
Steel without oxidation: sandblasted to Sa2.5 or sanded to St3 by elastic grinding wheel
Steel coated with shop primer: sandblasted or sanded to St3 by elastic sanding wheel
Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3℃ above the dew point temperature. When the outdoor construction temperature is lower than 0℃, the reaction of epoxy and curing agent will stop, so it is not suitable for construction. Relative humidity is not more than 85%.

Caution.
Suggested number of coats: two coats, dry film 80μm.
The latter supporting paint: various alkyd topcoats, amino drying paint, etc.
Surface treatment: steel with oxidation: sandblasting to Sa2.5 level (acid washing method can also be used to remove oxidation and rust).
Steel without oxidation: sanding to St3 by elastic grinding wheel.
Steel coated with shop primer: paint film damage and rusting at the second rust removal, grinding to St3 level.
Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate must be more than 3℃ above the dew point temperature. Relative humidity not more than 85%. Storage period is one year.
